LOL, Mirelly. BTW, I like the bit in your sig where it says 'Extra shiny' pointing to the FAQ's.:D Anyway here are your questions answered:

The lights in the street I stuck there because it was night and I needed some lights to light up my sims faces for a shot that I needed for the Viscottis' Tales and I was too lazy to delete them all when I was done.
The tombstone belongs to a random townie that thought it would be fun to play with my cow plant's cake.
The jerky sims (as you so nicely put it - they are rather jerky in my game actually ;)) are ignoring Sarah's death because she hadn't actually died yet. As soon as Grimmy came (in time for my phone snatching) everybody in the household came to mourn Sarah's death.
*cough* The bed I'm rather ashamed of because one of my sims came back from work desperately needing sleep so I stuck a bed in their garden! I guess I'll delete it eventually.
Nope, the fence is fine for the traffic. I always place my fences like that.

I think that's all your questions answered. :biggrins:

So funny, Muffin, because I just let my poor sims pass out on the sidewalk if they come back from work that tired. Or, if I'm feeling kind, I use Merola's painting to give them a little energy. I think the painting will do its trick even if the sim is still at work. ;) That painting is quite magical and I have one in every household, and even in some community lots (because it annoys me that all sims need to use the toilet as soon as they get anywhere.)

Personally, I think it's even more funny that the tombstone of a random townie is cluttering up your sidewalk. And also that Sarah decided to look at clouds out there next to it and the mailbox. :D

This was made worse by the most recent EP's (I think Seasons upped the ante the most ... the reason is that sims, when scared witless (or struck by lightning) tend to pee themselves ... obviously -- if you're a Maxoid -- this is ensured by making sure that all sims arrive anywhere with bladders at 49% ... thus ensuring them well primed for a pants-wetting experience.

Luckily Pescado has made a hack that restore the game to its original setting for the bladders of visitors, walk-bys and arrivals at community lots. It's an indispensible item for successful parties

    LOL, and thanks Mirelly.

And all this time I just assumed the Maxoids were simply amusing themselves at our expense. :p

I never thought of putting the painting in a community lot. Thanks for that tip, Lynet. Hah, no more toilet needing on community lots! And about the tombstone area -- what can I say? It's a danger zone for my sims. :D

So I am playing my new hood: Yellow Rock and Ajax needs a cellphone so off he goes, to the nearest store, to get one. Now there is also a shady character, who lives downtown (in that spooky place with the deep, deep cellar) and his name is Count Von Dranktenblud and he is an hospitable landlord for sims, with no place else to go, who heigh their way to Yella Rock after graduating from uni.

Imagine my surprise when I discover that the dodgy count with the pale complexion is considering a makeover of the Rocky Horror sort   ... let's do the time warp again .... :p

On the other hand one has to be concerned that the Count is happy to discuss cash withthe young and impressionable Ajax House ... (lol sounds like the head office of a toilet cleaning products company ... his dad's name is Maxwell and his wife is Sindy ... (his mom had the reserved name of Barbie). His elder sister is called Alpha and he already has a nephew by the name of Bauer (bauhaus: geddit? :p )

Yeah it's a legacy, sorta, going on here. I was gonna write, but, frankly I'm too idle ... seriously I just can't write fast enough to keep pace with my play. All my previous efforts have stalled because the game was getting close to being half a generation ahead of the narrative :(

Oh Odin lol, he was just filling in a hole while the hunger bubble popped over his head. I think that was in my Asylum challenge.
And pets gives the fill in hole option, because when the dogs dig holes, you need to fill them in right?

There was a time when I was disingenuous enough to think that the expression cross-dressing fireman meant a firefighter who was getting dressed in anger. I love the sims and their non-gender stereotype discussions ... imagine discussing make up with your headmaster ... when you are a mere 7 year old ... boy!

This series I call Trapped by the Nanny. While Cheri and Caprice Summerfield are enjoying a liesurely breakfast, Karen Gast, being the hyper-efficient nanny that she is (NOT), proceeds to feed baby Cassandra TWO bottles, before taking her off to bed.

At first, I couldn't figure out why neither Cheri nor Caprice would come when I called. Then I finally take a closer look, and yep! Karen had ingeniously trapped them in their chairs, making them helpless pawns in whatever nefarious plot she was planning.

I, being the all-powerful and benevolent (mostly) goddess that I am, freed them, thus spoiling Karen's evil plans - at least until next time! ;)

LOL, Jazz I love it when little tods get up and do their thing on the dance floor. It's so cute (and hilarious).

    # 4 made me laugh out loud. That was such a great comment on that picture. No, Alden certainly WASN'T ready for the proposal. He was too busy thinking of the pool to notice that his (now to be) wife was planning something big. ;)

Dancing babies, evil nannies, tranny vampires and firemen ... this thread is maturing nicely ... though not neccessarily in a wholesome way ... but puritanism is overrated ... there should always be some room for a little Catholic depravity. ;)
