You know it's getting to the point, gotten to the point, where we are more like renting these games then buying them.

It looks to be a really good sequel with lots of much needed and awesome features added. (of which being an Animal Crossing fan and Nintendo fan I'm not used to sequels giving so much anymore. *coughcityfolkcough*)

But I can't shake the fact that I recently completed my collection of The Sims 2 expansion packs and that I really don't want to uninstall all of them. All of that money spent.

I really wish they would give us some benefits in The Sims 3 for having purchased expansion packs for The Sims games. I know it seems unfair, but it's also unfair to spend all of that money on the expansion packs only to essentially throw it all out when they make the next The Sims.

They really need to get smart and give us benefits for having been loyal Simmers for so long.

I'm also uneasy about the whole neighborhood growing up at once thing. It's a double edged feature. It sounds awesome, and if I'm in a neighborhood with only one family I care to play it won't be an issue, but I like to create neighborhoods with Simselfs and familys I want to be left alone. =/

And of course there's also that the fact that Seasons and weather are not coming back. As I said in the other topic I can't stand the idea of constant summer and sunshine again! I hate it!

Lastly there's the issue of whether any of my computers would be able to handle it. I already know my desktop computer is fried (even though I'm using it right now. =/ Long story.) and won't play any games. And I don't know if my laptop would be able to run it.

Whether it does or not may not matter though, my laptop is the most ridiculous computer I've ever had and over the one and over a half year I've had it I have had countless amounts of issues with it. Right now when I put it to sleep it doesn't wake up and then it doesn't even start up when I turn it off on back on.

I think Steve meant by "burned" as in they felt they were conned or felt foolish for making such a purchase.

Last week one of my best friends borrowed me his Spore DVD. He feels he has played enough and he is trying to persuade me to play since the game came out, so it was not only a loan… it was more like an order "PLAY IT. IT'S HERE". I have no idea if his disk as installation limits… if so, we probably have used them all (he has a brother and I don't believe they bought 2 games for the same household, but each one of them has his own computer).
