It would technically be this thread.. http://forums.worldsims.org/forums/showthread.php?threadid=874 At least that's what I think....
Oh Oinkie...don't you think it's time to come out of the closet..er, cupboard...I'm not even trying to find you!! *grabs a fresh donut* I liked Snake's rant about the ferrets...seems hard to believe that someone could forget to feed a pet especially when the animal is in the SAME room! Was she deaf as well as blind? Did the animal not try to get her attention? Did she not think that since she was filling her face that maybe the ferret could use food too? Gee, that's even worse than forgetting a hamster in his hamster ball for a few days...no one really mourns the loss of a ratlike thing when there are 15 others in the cage, but ferrets are cute (and expensive)!! Gee, I'd hate to see your friend if she ever had a child? Anyhoo, on a less rantlike topic...Is everyone all ready for Christmas?
just finished Christmas shopping today (monday) started yesturday.. i must be a procrastinator Ya know what's funny? I have a link to my own site in my Misc. category of my links page.. and it has 13 hits! Guess the 'home' link didn't work
I did my shopping in the past few weeks but left it up to hubby to get the kids some of their bigger gifts this year. (I usually pick video games and he disapproves so told him he could take charge for once). Well, today is Christmas Eve and he still hasn't made it to the store to get them their gifts or anything for me....hmmm, and he doesn't think that he's a procrastinator? Don't be surprised if I tell you the next time I post that all he got me was some car fresheners and windshield wiper blades from some garage that stayed open late!! I had gotten him to drive me to the city earlier this month so we could do some shopping but he got so stressed with how busy it was that we just did some company business there then came home...without ANY gifts!! Now he thinks the 24th will be less crowded? Yeah, I told him it'll be less crowded alright....on the store shelves...that's right...everything the kids want will be gone and picked over...I'm not bitter, I'm just frustrated that every year he complains about what I pick but can't seem to do better...at least when I do it they have something under the tree!! Hmm, maybe I should have posted this in the Rant section.... *searches purse frantically for a chill pill*
hope tonight goes well for everyone! Hang in there book! My hubby got we weird things for our Anniversary before... stuff he picked up at the grocery store on the way home from work! I'm a little stressed about tonight because I have a bad sinus infection and we weren't sure what my hubby's family plans were... and my present for hubby is in his SISTER'S TRUNK for the past week so if I don't get to see HER that means I don't have his present for him! aaaaah! My brother came in from Florida unexpectedly so we're juggling him and his wife at my parents' in the morning and then everyone goes to his wife's family's house to continue the chaos. ...let me know if you find any extras of those pills book...
Hahaha. The closet. So funny Book. *rotflhao* Hahaha! No. Anyhoo, not to rub it in or anything, but all I did for Christmas was chill. No pun intented.
In response to my previous post I need to say that actually hubby did manage to get in some shopping before closing time...I was given money to put into a card for one kid then the other I was told to make a christmas card telling him that his dad would take him shopping for a bike before summer. Our daughter was okay as I'd picked up a couple of items for her elsewhere but hadn't made up my mind as to whether I would give them to her or not. He bought me a bottle of perfume and a jacket that is way too big but. hey, it's the thought that counts! Right?
Way to big is generally better than way too small when it comes to clothes... my current pjs were a gift from my in-laws last year and they're about 4 sizes too big!! But that makes them extra baggy and comfy so I kind of laugh, roll up the sleeves, and feel pampered.
I was with my Paul having a calm and lovely evening. At about 10.30 we took all rabbits indoors. They're always shooting LOTS of fireworks right behind the cages so they need to be protected. Then about 1 am they go out when it's quiet again.
For New Year's we rented a movie "Zoolander" (now that was a bizarre but funny movie!) and spent it with the whole family together for the first time in years as hubby usually works away from home and if he takes off Christmas then he is always scheduled to work New Year's. It was a nice change but will probably be spending next year with just me and the kiddies again... :(
Seems we both for once had our really loved ones with us Fae. Zoolander eh? I think I'm going to look for it over here.
