I 'sort of' know someone who was famous once, for playing a guitar and singing. (I must watch my typing - I nearly typing 'sinning').

 

My wife has partially (not quite completely!) forbidden me from answering the telephone. It all springs from the day I nearly fooled my daughter. I usually reply to callers with something like 'This is Henry Hall, and tonight is my Guest Night.', or 'This is the Hitcham fish and chip shop..'. In her case I answered that it was an embassy of a famous power (where most people live?). She was fooled into thinking that the voice was real. Really?!?!?

 

Omg Philip! You're almost too much. *giggles* I've done similar things. My parents was sooo "embarrassed". people always called and disturbed in the middle of dinner. I started to answer: "Hello you've come to the residency. Are your feeet sticky? You came in the middle of dinner."
Most people laughed and said they would call back later, or gave me name and number. :classic:
At least they could eat one meal in peace. :classic:
