*Puts up a non-alcoholic drink selection of colorful fruit punches and smoothies. Now, let's see....puts up some festive decorations and decides to make this a party room! * Alright, all nice and cheery in here now. *orders a kiwi-strawberry smoothie and sits at the table to enjoy* :classic:
Come on now, Pokey always made the best down here in Alabama...cold drinks, wake up calls, etc. A truely genuine person! I consider myself blessed to have such a friend as Pokey!!!
Hey, yeah, I'd say reaching a 400 post mark counts as a good day thing! Congratulations! The 500 post will probably come soon too!
Thanks Billie, it is the true southern hospitality. I love making my friends feel at home and make them feel better. :classic: *has a nice big glass of iced tea* Ahhhhh, refreshing.
YAY!!! What and afternoon and evening I have had!!! :classic: I met my cousin, haven't seen him in 9 years. He's a sailor (machine chief) and him. his captain, me and my daughter had first a cup of coffee on the ship then we went out for a really nice dinner. We had a really really good time and was catching up a lot. They're probably going for another trip Poland_Stockholm so I'll see him next weekend as well. This is as more great as I lost touch with all other relatives around. We've always been good friends and have a close connection. I'm really, really happy!!!! *Hugs everyone* :bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny:
I am soooo happy for your really good day Nina!!!!! You have needed a day like that for a while. :classic: Sounds like you really had a good time. *gives Nina a great big happy hug*
*Hugs Chrissy back and swirls her around* Thanks so much Chrissy and Haz. *Gives Haz a huge hug* Yes I sure did.! And they night be back already coming weekend. Maybe we will go to a movie then. :classic: Maybe...They're not sure yet where they end up. They never are. it's tough on the sea. When they left this morning it was a stormwarning out. And it has been real hard winds and snowing whole day. Subway and trains and buses have had a lot of trouble today and when he called me this afternoon it was already storming. So we'll see. At least we can keep in touch via email now. But they are on satellite and that cost a fortune!!!! It's like about US$ 10/minute!!! So they can only connect up a very limited time each day. :classic: Oh and about these snowdays US have. Do you think they got that today here despite stormy winds and snow?? Oh nooo. School as usual. :classic: *Hops happily away with ears flying to the next thread* :bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny:
oh that's so cool you're getting to see your cousin again! I miss seeing my cousins, they are scattered all over the USA and one in Mexico! I get to see them sometimes in a family chat my cousin made though.
