I don't like snakes much, and have a tendency to smash the unexpected spider. But I think I am most afraid of rejection...

I was told yesterday by my grandson that I had run over a grass snake. I didn't see it and I don't know whether he was telling the truth or 'sending me up' (is that the right expression? or should it be 'winding me up' - I am not sure about the state of my spring or whether you need one these days).
There are no very harmful snakes here in the U.K. The worst is the Adder (they multiply), but they run away if they hear you coming, which they generally do. I have seen two Adders - both in Pembrokeshire (West Wales), quite a few years ago.
I found a Stoat the other day - a dead one, I am afraid. I think one of our cats killed it. It was beautiful and not a bit frightening.

    Lol.

Yeah. Being anywhere's near a tornato would freak me out. A couple years back I had a few tornado warnings for my area; you could see the clouds getting that little tail like thing in them. It was freaking me out. O_o
Lets just say I'd never move to a place near Tornado Alley. :p
