Kristal has been playing hookie from us for a while... What's up with that Kristal? Don't you love us anymore? *big puppy dog eyes*
I'm here, I'm here. Yes, I still love y'all. Just really busy at work. Sims and computers have become a hobby now, no longer an obsession. I miss it and miss y'all, though. Lynet? You here?
Not yet. Hi, folks  Snake? (In the meantime, while waiting for Snake, I think I'll go and change my avatar. Just for fun.)
Nope, but my name starts with an S...? SBW? Sacharissa? Excited for tomorrow? (yes I'm guessing two people!)
I actually nearly posted somewhere and asked you guys how lunch/coffee/meeting was, but then I realised it not Saturday for you yet. Or it's the very early hours of Saturday anyway. Oopsies. Person?
Tis me, back from our afternoon meeting with SBW and Sacharissa. It was nice! We got to see Porta De Luca first hand and all the houses and characters. Sacharissa had brought her laptop as well, so we saw some of the houses she designed...beautiful! We even got to see some of the sims SBW's daughter has made and the houses she built. Oh, and SBW, you're daughter is adorable, I meant to tell you that when we were there but I forgot. She was very sweet and well behaved...good job mom! Ummm...so I just directed a comment to you, SBW?
Yes, sorry. Forgot to check this forum! Thank you for the nice words about my daughter. I am well aware that I got one of the good ones, I can't take all the credit for how she turned out. She's just a naturally great kid. So, cute story: She fell asleep on her daddy's arm when they were both lounging on the couch watching Harry Potter IV, and the cat decided that looked like a nice place to sleep so she climbed on top and did the boneless cat thing, which is unusual for her now that she's gotten so old and creaky. They just looked so cute, and my husband put up with it for quite a while before he had to rescue his arm, which had fallen asleep. Getting to meet you and Sacharissa was fun! Next time, we can talk about Body Shop some more, if I ever get mine to work again. Stupid downloads. Of course, if one of y'all hosts then that's a moot point. For you, at any rate. OK, waaaaaaaay too long. Pick a person, SBW. I'm going to say, Person 123.
Na-na-na-na-na-hey!-na-na-na-na---na-na-na-na-na-hey!-na-na-na-na-na--- And so on. Well done, well done done. Jolly good show. Toodle pip! Lynet?
I have a new favorite Britishism ... tickety-boo. I think it would make a great sim neighborhood game. Maybe the shopping district of Tickety Boo. Hee hee ... Lynet?
LOL except I never heard anyone in the country actually say tickety-boo with a serious face. Are there any americans who say dang nab it? LOL Lynet should be up soon, come on girl! Rise and shine
Hi, folks  . I've been missing ya'll because I've been doing OFB so hard. Then last night I drove my long-suffering husband to a clinic to have an MRI of an injured shoulder. Poor thing, if it's not one thing it's another -- a broken finger and serious poison ivy last year -- this year it's probably a torn ligament or something in his shoulder. We'll know for sure in a day or two. Anyway, where's Michelle? When's the last time you stopped by here? Not for a couple of days, I see. Are you there?
Nope, it's me amazed to have been right for once. Sorry to hear about you hubby. SBW? Time you surfaced for the day ...
Yawn ... what? Oh, yeah, here I am. I was just reading the nice things people said about my story, and thinking about making some really bad coffee now that I'm at work. My husband and I have a lunch date today, even though we're broke ... we've got no self-restraint sometimes. Lynet, I hope your husband's shoulder feels better soon! That sounds painful. The woman who said tickety-boo was kind of a pip pip cheerio type on a kid's movie called Kronk's New Groove, which is really silly but bearable. Hey, I lived through way too many years of Barney, so I can handle anything. Um, let's see ... Shana? You there? I'll bet you're working too hard at your new position to check in with us slackers, but I thought I'd check anyway.
I am working hard and don't have nearly as much free time now that I have my new position. I'm able to check right now because I'm waiting for a meeting to start and don't feel like getting knee deep into the rest of my work till after that meeting! I do love my new job though. Michelle?
