Help!! i know my cd drive works because i installed something with it today. but when i put my sims 3 in to install it the disk doesnt spin so i cant install it! what do i do?! :ermm:
The sims 3 is on a dvd which means your cd rom can't read it or did you mean to say dvd drive? (sorry not trying to sound sarcastic) If it is a dvd drive check the disk for any smudges, scratches or anything that will cause the disk to not be read. If you know anybody with a dvd drive in their computer try it out in theirs because it if does at least give you the installation start up screen then it's a good sign your drive is probably failing.
thank youuu. i'm pretty sure you are right. its an old computer so the dvd drive is probably shot. i'll check it out.
