I'm hoping Sims 3, if such a thing ever exists, will allow you to choose a body type for your sim. It would be nice if we could have tall, average and short as well as, say, waif-like, curvy, muscular ... I know you can get some different body types on MTS2 but I haven't done so. My game's buggy enough. You can cheat right now to make a sim taller or shorter but you have to do it every time and they look weird so I don't recommend it.
I know amazon has the release date pegged as October 3, 2006, but amazon is notorious for release date sliding. From everything I've heard and seen, it seems like October is the most likely release month. I agree about the height and body shapes SBW. I've always wanted to make sims with different heights. It drives me nuts when I can't. Because some sims scream tiny, tiny person, while others long to be tall and gangly.
