A lot of people worry about me.

But seriously, I was just (well, pretty much) kidding. However, it always gives me a little giggle when something that makes a normal simplayer curse happens. I suppose I just have a really, really strange sense of humor.

Some people put their mind to it much more than others...

Well, that's good to hear ... hard to tell when people are joking online ... guess that's why we have emoticons.

I have a strange sense of humor, myself, always have. That's definitely a good thing. ;)

sbw, thanks for the tip! but still, does anyone know how to turn on the self kill (kill by flies etc) thing on using the boolprop cheat?

Can I just say that tried the boolprop thingy today ... (moi? ru calling moi a dirty cheat? ... ) Anyway ... I'd like to confirm that there is no death by flies option on the mailbox. And no! I am not gonna say what I was looking for

Wasn't gonna ask. I never pry into the relationship of a girl and her computer ... :D

ROTF! Witches, too bad we don't live closer to each other, girl. You and I could ditch the little ones and have lunch sometimes, I'm sure we'd come out of the resturaunt with our cheeks hurting from laughing so hard! :D

"Death By Flies" is achieved when you hold down the "shift" key while clicking on the intended victim. There is a personal menu of options for that sim. The mailbox gives a much diffrent menu.

And again, boolprop is not something to be played around with lightly. Just remember: "Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely." In this case, it can corrupt your game, so BE CAREFUL!

Yep, you're a bit far from Minnesota. At least for lunch. :p

:) Minesota! Cool state! I met someone at a Healthy Families America Conference from there, she was a great lady. :)

Yep, a little too far to drive for a lunch date. Ah, well, any time you're in Eastern NC, give me a call. ;)

Cool, indeed, except in the summer, when it's sweltering. I get laughed at by my southern friends when I say that, but it has been in the high 80's and low 90's and HUMID lately so I think "sweltering" is apt.

And right now it's raining like crazy. Dark and thundery, which probably won't cool things off any.

Minnesota weather is a study in extremes. If I didn't like living here so much I'd move to somewhere a little more temperate ...
I've visited NC. What a lovely state. SC is a little scrubbier, I thought, but I could definitely live in NC.

Well... I am more a career guy, which is reflected in my sim, as a tycoon and having 3 lovers(i hate getting married, it will restrict my sim's freedom to mate). And have one eaten by cow plant becuse she killed my sim's other lover when she witness my sim and the other girl woohoo!!

I am not too cold blooded am i?

I didn't know sims could kill each other ...

You obviously haven't read many threads if you think you might be too cold-blooded for this group. ;)

How do you make a sim kill another sim? I have to act it, like making a sim stand right next to the ladder and then I delete it.

There's no direct killing in TS2, although the killing that does exist makes a simple stabbing or shooting look tame. Frankly, "Cask of Amontillado" is a method of murder for only the most sick and deranged.

I managed to do it once before after I read about it, the trick is to have no doors to the outside and to have a fridge (but no stove or microwave oven) so the sims don't die of hunger.

You'd have to wait for quite some time before the sims accumulate enough trash to actually see the death by flies and it happens really fast so you have to keep a sharp eye out for it.

    Have (albeit sadistic) fun!

I have to agree with Pescado. At least a bullet is quick ... waiting three days for a sim to die of hunger is not for the faint of heart. You have to be in a really detatched, twisted mood to pull it off without relenting.

I've killed two Sims. I built a room, sent Grandma inside, then took off the door. I gave her all the comforts, of course--the most expensive bed, TV, bookcase, chair. No windows because I coudn't stand to watch :( . It took 3 horrible days because I was an idiot and sent her in there well fed. Without lowering the walls to look I'd click on her icon to see how far into the red she was. Discovered that she was talking to Harvey the 6 foot rabbit once so her social went completely green. But I didn't relent. I think I was afraid to look her in the eye. I needed a second gravestone so inspite of this dreadful first experience I murdered another Sim. Drowned him by taking out the ladder. Took him about 1 day. I couldn't watch that one either. OK, so I need one more gravestone in order to complete this foolish music video project. Is there an easier way to get one? Sure there is. Wait for an oldster to die naturally! Especially now that the Uni expansion allows for moving extra people into and out of houses so that they don't have to grow old right along with the one whose gravestone you need :D .
