i live in veronaville and one family will not play smoothly. the framerate is very slow, and moves along at the same choppy rate regardless of play speed (1,2,3). i tried turning down all the settings but it didn't work. i've tried another family and it works fine. any help would be most appreciated.

swmeek I got your benevolent dictator pal!!

    Custom familes or Ea families?
Your system should be more than adequate to play the Sims 2.
Also are they both the same size lot with any custom content?

House is bugged, remove the family and bulldoze the lot.
