Flameback- I bet he's still a huge sweetheart!

Joanne, I love your picture! So cute with the dog down below! By the way, what breed are your cats? Addie has the same markings along her back and her tail, not as much white though. And her tummy is spotted. We think she's a cross with a Bangal, but not sure of the other breed. We got her and Tanner from the Humane Society, Hailee came from a farm.

    So sweet!

Here are some pictures of my dog, the contortionist. She doesn't only sleep, but it's one of the few times she's sitting still enough to have her picture taken.

Besides, her sleeping positions have to be seen to be believed.

My cat is far too cute to share

Seriously ... don't have a digital camera that works and my scanner is in a box somewhere cos I'm too lazy to unpack it ... I only moved last July, ya know. I like to take things nice and slow

[edit]Found this on a disc of Bagpuss who died in 2003 ... he was only 13 but he'd never been a robustly healthy cat. He was the soppiest darn animal I ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Aw...it makes me want to get a cat or dog! Sometimes I wish I could have something fat and fuzzy to cuddle up with. My hamster would probably get squished, LOL. And he'd have an "accident" (But I'm sure he knows exactly what he's doing to my favorite sweater) too.

My friend used to have a cat, and she'd get all hyper and hug him really tight and he'd scratch her.

My cats are tabby's, 2nd generation. Their mom was in our family for 18 years, Tasha, she died about 7 years ago, so these 2 are sister, Mary and Annie...lol....they are 8 years old...and my little doggie, Bella, is a dwarf poodle, and she really rules the roost....for sure.........but she's my baby and I love her!

Hope everyones having a great night!

    Joanne :)

Threads like these die too quickly. :(

To keep it alive here are several new photos.

Starting from the left is my former Siberian Husky, Cerulean. She's still alive and all but I unfortunately had to give her away when I moved (really long story). Best pet I've ever had. :~)

The next is my current Leopard Gecko, "Brian Gobbles"... (I think only Oink may get this) ... or just Gex for now.

To the right of the gecko is my hermit crab - Mr. Crabs. He's really small right now (as you can probably tell from the thumb in the shot) and creeps the heck out of my mom. :)D)

Next up is my hedgehog named Jill. She only really photographs from her left side good as she poked her other eye out. o_O Don't ask me how as I was on a vacation while it happened (honest). She's actually my second pet to lose an eye (Sib. Husky's the first [long-ish story I won't get into at the moment]).

On the far-right is my former kitten, Clovis. He was from the last batch of kittens before my move so I liked to pamper him and his brother by bringing them inside all the time (farm cats) while I could.

they are all pretty darn cute Snake. And I agree, threads like this do die WAY too quickly. Here's another one of Tanner that I can't help but pass around to everyone I know. It makes me laugh everytime I see it!

Here's another one of my gecko that I thought turned out rather well concidering it's from behind glass and pretty close.

My only pet at the moment as my hedgehog became "misplaced" and my crabs killed themselves.

LOL JupiterShana, that photo of Tanner put tears in my eyes! So funny, he looked like the Chesire Cat (sp?)...

Ok, my dogs. They already had names when we got them.

    (1) I hope that photo's ok... It's only a distant relative, and you can't see their face... Well, that's Shaggy, and he may look innocent enough in that photo, but he's a little rascal. Mum + Dad are painting outside, and the doors are open, and Shaggy's trying to climb through the louvres, wrecking the paint job...

    (2) This is the big girl Kayla, being silly inside. She's not allowed inside... ;)

    (3) Shaggy in the grass.

    (4) Kayla in the grass.

    (5) I posted this photo in Snake's thread, but it's a good photo, so I'll post it here too. Kayla peering through the louvres.

Oh my gosh Solid I love leopard geckos! I used to want one...but then I realized my brother's exzema condition reacts to all types of animal dander. Gosh darn it. I guess I'll just have to wait until college... At least I got my carnivorous plants. Do those count as pets?

Do lizards produce dander? I thought they just just shed their whole skin in one lump ... or is that just snakes? :(

I'm not too sure about them having dander, Mirelly. It's possible I guess. So far though my mom (who's allergic to cat, dog and bird dander/feathers) hasn't complained.

Snakes shed in one big clump whereas lizard, or at least the ones I've owned, shed in patches or larger flakes. The nice thing about my leopard geckos is that when they shed they eat the skin so I never have to clean it out of their cage(s). The bearded dragon however was pretty lazy and just let it rest where it fell. :p

Yeah ... I had a dragon that used to that ... uh, no wait a minute, that was the mother-in-law and her psoriasis ... ew ... far too much information of a Sunday   :p ;) :D

[Edit] Forgot to comment on Alison's pics. Little Shaggy looks so cute especially in the first pic. He's got the cutest little wet, black nose .... :)

    LMAO, Shana ...

I'm so ashamed I don't have a pic of my cat but here's a pic I thought was oh-so-cute ... I wondered what I would name the kit ... how about Spikey? :D

I've merged the two "Pictures of our pets" threads into one as they were pretty much the same thing.

With that I'm reviving this as I bought myself a new pet yesterday. :D

Here's a photo of my female corn snake - and no, she doesn't have a name yet. ;)

Keep in mind that the looney she is beside is a standard $1 Canadian coin - so she's a hatchling now, but will get bigger. (About 4-6ft long according to several people).

Added: Also, here's an updated photo of my two leopard geckos (also taken yesterday). They've grown a lot since I first got them.
The temporarily "whitish" looking one (with its head on my thumb) is the female and was near shedding when I snapped the image. The other is the male - he's a lot more skittish than the female as I very rarely hold him other than to move him from Point A to B. (They kept turning away from the camera).

I HATE YOU! I WANT LEOPARD GECKOES! *sob*

Seriously, I just love reptiles. Love, love, love.

Snakes are also cool, but I hate that you have to feed them mice....I like rodents too. :(
