For assigning an aspiration you would use a normal dice from a monopoly game or so on and assign the various aspriations to the numbers 1-5. If it comes up 1 -5 when you roll the dice you take the relevant aspiration. If its 6 you can choose an aspiration or just roll again. I usually try for another child after the youngest has reached the toddler stage, which gives me 3 days to teach the toddler stuff before the next baby arrives. YMMV As for whether you can move the new adult out of the house with siblings, yes thats possible, but under legacy rules, you need to keep 1 of the children in the house to continue the legacy. If that child dies, you cannot move any other children back in so be careful there... I normally have at least 2 children and keep both of them around in the house until one of them is married with a child if I feel like playing safe. HTHs
i have another question: can an adult woo hoo with a teen if they love each other??? will the teen have a chance of getting pregnant? can they try for a baby? [Moderation Note - No discussion of non teen-rated subjects please. These forums are open to all age groups. I have therefore slightly hidden the question. ]
Hi Flamey. I would say forget the word legacy. It just conjures up an image of a nerdy competition ... sorry but it does. I actually like the term "dynasty" better. TS2 is ideal for dynasty building. The essence of the original legacy challenge was the continuance of residency on a lot. Part of the reason this is a "good" thing is that it's not possible to take furniture and artwork (heirlooms) with your sims when they move. A Legacy/Dynasty family stays on one lot so the property of the first generation is available to the last ... there is an attraction in this ... though not all players are compelled to agree. As others have said you can play it any way you want! Hot Toddler Tip Don't waste those sims that come home from school or work with your family. Have your toddler playing with a toy in an open space (eg The pink wabbit) and with toddler selected, click as many visitors as you like and choose "Play With". The chosen sim(s) will go and play with the toddler until either the toddler goes critical or a sim does. And The Point is? Playing with a toddler in this way is fun for all parties ... so it meets the visitors fun needs. It also fills their social needs and the toddler build up relationship points ... later on when the toddler grows into a child it will only take a few minutes on the phone for the toddler/now-a-child to make that sim a firm friend! Moral Even toddlers can be put to work making the family's resources grow and keeping order in the house. One toddler can occupy 3 or more guests of all ages filling their fun bars and making friends with them and stopping them from clogging up your toilets and turning your TV set on and off until it breaks and teasing and annoying almost everyone else they bump into .... You know it makes sense!
sorry, i just wanted to know because i saw a story on the official site and it had teen pregnancies in it. well, ok. by the way, that's really useful, mirelly!! i never thought of that. i always figured that toddlers were useless until they got older.
Thank you everyone this really helps I just bought the game today great tips. I bet they all will help.
I know this is an old thread... I know this is a really old thread, but if any1 is still paying attention, where can I dowload <snip>?
Shhhhh...not to loud...this is a PG-14 board and the mods don't like those kinda things bandied about here.
Yeah, this is a really old thread. It's not really a good idea to resurect threads this old, but then again, we're happy to see that instead of asking questions that have already been answered a year ago, someone used the search engine and read old threads for their answers.
