Thanks Shana ! I've been trying to think of a sig that I really love, and I'm no good at sappy quotes of meaning, so I thought, that'll do. Carol Kane and Billy Crystal old, classic.
I did like the Princess Bride, but the Phantom of the Opera will remain as my favoritest movie ever. It's AWESOME. I've watched it 8 times since the first time I watched it last June, and I've been wanting to watch it every weekend this school year, but I lost the DVD! Sigh.
It's times like these you wish you could just goto your computer, press CTRL+SHIFT+C and type move_objects on and just delete those dirty dishes
shoot, Josh. I'd be happy if I could get a maid to come in everyday, make the bed, wash the dishes and put away the clean clothes.
I'd be extreamly happy to make the kind of money they do as well...bringing home around $400.00 dollars a day would be really nice, and that's their middle range!
Me, I want Mary Poppins' powers, or maybe Mrs. Weasley's. Wave a wand, snap your fingers, and poof! Clean house. And LOL, Josh, move objects would also be great.
Sigh. I'm a sloppy sim. When my house gets dirty I cry and grumble and cuss, and the I go lay on the couch or get on the computer. I can feel someone trying to cancel it out of my quey and tell me to scrub toilets, but I just ignore it. Luckilly, JMP hasn't made a patch for real-life yet. Okay, all kidding aside, Allie, my Momma always said, "If you just do a little bit every day, then it never gets to be a big job." And Momma is always right. I always keep my LR picked up and swept, my bed made, and clothes picked up out of the floor. Then I pick one room and clean it, mop it, etc. On the weekends, all I ever have to do is the bigger stuff, like scrub the bathroom and put away laundry and strip beds and stuff.
Yeah I know that a little bit a day will keep the flies away, but even getting motivated for that little bit is hard. Ok, so we've been pretty good so far. We cleaned up the kitchen/living/dining area (you know, the bit everyone sees) before we got the puppy, and that's stayed reasonable. Mind you that was only Tuesday, but still, pretty good for us. Now I have to go and unload the dishwasher before it ends up piling up on the bench again. I do like the move objects suggestion though, that was good. And yeah, with $400/$500 a day I could get a maid to do all of my cleaning. And a wand would be fantastic!!! Now I'm just depressed.
