Yeppir, I killed a big old porcupine coming home in the dark a week or two ago. He was so big that if I'd been driving a little car he probably would have thrown me into the ditch! I felt bad killing him but he should have kept heading one direction as I would have straddled him with my truck tires but he turned and headed back and I clipped him with the inside of my left tires...Interesting how quills can stick into tires....As a side note, my stupid dogs are constantly getting quills in their faces as they won't leave the porcupines alone...they think they make a nice, tasty snack... Has never seen a porcupine outside of a zoo or on the Nature channel?
