Sims 3 crashes on start up :( Hello, this is my first time posting help so hopefully this will work. I have recently bought and installed The Sims 3 and upon starting the game, instead of loading like it should, it just goes to a black square application box which covers 70% of my screen, makes that error sound, and stays that way. The computer doesn't crash or anything and i can easily close the sims application, but it just stays as a black application box! Is there a way this can be fixed? I'm not sure how to link my dxdiag information, i've got the file but i don't know how to attach it to this thread lol Regards, Chopper
Ok, i figured out how to attached the dxdiag information, also I have found that a error message is appearing behind the application box, it reads: "Unable to start game - Service initialization failed (0x0175d824)" Do you know how to fix this issue? Kind Regards, Chopper
