Raw, whole once.. just peeled and washed (like snacks), or boiled easily in thicker slices in light salted water (add a lil bit sugar tooo - gives a better taste) no more than 5 minutes. Or raw shredded with mayo and raisins as a salad.. or...... however you like them.. They're excellent to stuff a chicken with together with apples and have in the owen.. You can always use them one way or another..
heehee I finally caught up on THIS thread... it's nice to know I was missed, I'm glad my computer was NOT flooded when I got back!! I LOVE carrots, I like to put them in stuffings and dressings and just about anything that asks for celery I either replace it with carrots, or add carrots too. I never tried stuffing a chicken with carrots and apples, but it sounds like it might be good, I'll have to try that!
Carrots doesn't go well in my steak recipe, but it does go well in my moms beef stew... Yum.. Dang!!!!!!! I need a smilie that looks like I'm drooling over good food...
