Unable to type in family create mode This is a weird one - I used to play Sims 2 on my desktop and when I got a new laptop I installed it on there for some nostalgia. Everything seems to be fine, except that when I go to create a family, I click in the surname or first name text box, the default text (Enter name here or whatever it is) disappears, but nothing replaces it. The game itself recognises the keyboard - when there's loading animation I can press a key and it will cancel it and move on to loading the neighbourhood or whatever - but whatever I do it won't enter text for sim's names. Couldn't find anything on Google, not sure if that's because I can't figure out the right keywords though.
